ARKA Clothing is definitely the next big thing in the urban streetwear industry. Founded and established in 2009 by Tarzana, California-based trio: Shant der Ashodian, Burag Celikian, and Sevan Aliksanian, ARKA have succeeded in garnering an army of fans in their first year of operation.

Having grown up in Los Angeles, the three friends are exposed to numerous variations of fashion, music and artwork. The bold and thoughtful designs of ARKA are intentional, enabling the wearers to express their thoughts and ideas through the clothing of their choice. ARKA is also an environmentally-conscious brand, as they use the non-formaldahyde non toxic inks for their designs. The clothing line seeks to contribute to create a better future, no matter how minimal the effort is.

Using preshrunk 100% cotton shirts for each of their creation, ARKA is meticulous about quality of their clothing. The bold and eye-catching design of ARKA clothing is obviously their main strength, however, to keep the designs relevant, the minds behind the clothing line always have to make sure they’re sending clever messages through the designs. This apparently attracted the indie movie community, which landed ARKA a feature in a humorous indie mockumentary titled, “The Rise and Fall of Armando Venezuela.”
