June 12th, 2007 (Quick Blurt, SJ) - SoJones just got a lot of insider info on Converse Athletics. The top story right now is rapper Common is to be the new face for the Converse Project Red Collection. Other celebrities such as U2 singer Bono and Oprah are affiliating with the brand as well, as project Red is an Africa empowerment fund. Converse also had a rep earlier say that they will be releasing collaborated effforts in affiliation with Sedgwick and Cedar Hip Hop clothing brand.

June 7th, 2007 (Short Fact, SJ) - It took Jim Jones a while to become active in persuing Hip Hop clothing money but he's finally done it. The Harlem Diplomat and boss of Koch, has launched "Nostic Apparel," a clothing line that caters to the rock star fan base he and bandmate Juelz Santana created. May 20th, 2007 (Short Fact, SJ) - Lil' Kim is getting back into the fashion hustle. Reports have been published that the rap veteran has a new clothing line called "24-7 Star" she's preparing to launch. This is Kim's first attempt at a clothing line but she has her own Queen B Royalty watch collection, has been the star of an Old Navy commercial, and is known to have relationships with some of the European Runways top designers.

Insiders say that sales are still faltering despite their decade late ad campaign and people are still looking for other sneaker brands to replace the Nike Air Force Ones, Nike Air Jordans, Nike Flights, and all the others. April 16, 2007 (Random Blurt, SJ) - Jay-Z sold Rocawear Clothing and rumors are leaking about an S Carter clothing collection being made. It's said this line won't be produced via the Reebok S Carter collection, but a total seperate label. Another rumor is circulating that Jay-Z will be the silent partner of a new brand or already one of a clothing line that might be out.

April 9, 2007 (Credible Sources, SJ) - Kimora Lee Simmons, Baby Phat clothing's creative director, is a doll. And it's not just a saying in relation to her Hip Hop fashion career, but supposedly there's a company working to create a new doll in her likeness. Baby Phat clothing will probably be used to dress the Kimora Lee doll but only time tells.

March 22nd, 2007 (On-line Sources, SJ) - Eurweb released some news today saying that rapper TI and long-time girlfriend Tameka "Tiny" Cottle had an amicable split this week. In that news, it also stated that the Atlanta rapper TI and his business partner Jason Geter were starting a Hip Hop clothing line called "AKOO". What the new Urban brand's name stands for, we have no clue.

March 14th, 2007 (Credible Sources, SJ) - According to a credible source, Rocawear Clothing Company's first move since Sean 'Jay-Z' Carter's selling of the brand, is firing a lot of the Rocawear Brand reps. SoJones' heard from different sources that the brand is trying to minimize it's spending and take control over profits by any means. As a Hip Hop Clothing and fashions follower, SoJones' founder suggests the move may cause the brand to come to a haulting point. Rocawear Clothing has been a leading Hip Hop clothing brand since the 1990's.

February 19th, 2007 (on-line sources, SJ) - Disqusting! One of the few sneaker info sites with a voice unpaid by Nike, the truth may hurt sneaker heads. SoJones has recieved a statement that Nike is trying to get Greedy Genius sneakers' barred. According to resources, Nike is refusing to sell to stores that are selling the GG brand, in effort to slow down it's success. Ask Your Local store!

February 12th, 2007 (Credible Source, SJ) - Rapper Young Jeezy is finding much success teaming up with rapper Jay-Z. His sophmore album release peaked at #1 and now his 8732 clothing line is supposedly finding the same success. According to store sources and other reports, the rapper's clothing is moving fastly. Bigger than that, its rumored the artist is going to be doing design collaborations soon.
