Lupe Fiasco’s 2010 Trilly & Truly Release

There’s always something subtle and smooth about Lupe Fiasco’s music, and he brings it to his clothing line, Trilly & Truly. First launched back in 2008, the line consists of sophisticated hip-hop style streetwear collection. The intellectual-driven rapper even brought his Trilly & Truly to Japan, and made two new graphic tees for punk band Japanese Cartoon. Both tees portrayed the band’s logo format or band motto: “No Shackle, No Sugar. All Sabotage!!!”.

But that was then, back in 2009.

This year is 2010 and Lupe Fiasco shows what he has in store for Trilly & Truly fans in his video lookbook. If you’re a fan of Lupe Fiasco’s style, check this video:

The new collection is dubbed “Basic Info” and contains strong ideals close to Lupe’s heart: Peace, Anarchy and History. Quite profound messages to translate into design, but somehow Lupe made it. Check more Trilly & Truly on their website: trillyandtruly.com. Prices vary from $75 up to $1,200. Below are some of SoJones Editors’ favorites from Trilly & Truly Basic Info Collection.
