Gourmet L'Uno shoes.
Gourmet Shoes is a brand of deliciously stylish footwear conceptualized by veterans in the and footwear biz, namely Jon T. Buscemi, Greg Lucci and Greg Johnsen.
Gourmet Shoes is inspired by both Italian and American culture. The brand aims to break barriers by fusing sophisticated Italian style with the rugged American style. The result is a line of fabulous shoes inspired by Italian food, music, culture, and religion.
On the brand’s official website, www.gourmetinyourface.com it states, “Gourmet is both high and low, style forward yet familiar, chic and Gauche. Each Piece - From footwear to apparel - Possesses an understated complexity that underlies gourmet’s high concept DNA.”
Coming from the brand name itself, Gourmet shoes promises to whip up a line of delectable shoes by using a wide range of materials - from EPI leather to patent leather. All of these, of course, are made of premium materials and are influenced by Italian design - fused with good old American streetwear swag.
There’s no doubt behind the quality of Gourmet shoes. As sneakerfreaker.com puts it, “Gourmet footwear epitomizes duality and ingenuity by referencing iconic American casual shapes and remixing them in high-end fabrications. It combines technical and athletic elements like air technology and memory foam insoles that mingle with quality leather from a French tannery, hand-woven custom canvasses, crinkled high gloss-patent and pig skin leather, or even pony feather. The excellent materials create the sleek identity classic products, which is absolutely more than a pair of footwear to people.”

In 2007, Gourmet Shoes released the Cease and Desisto shoes which made headlines amongst hypebeasts and footwear fanatics worldwide. To follow through with its sought-after collection, the next year, Gourmet shoes launched a collection of kicks -which were highlighted by the Santo and Diablo models. Both of these shoes were inspired by the silhouettes of the famous Air Jordan XII and XIII.
In 2009, Gourmet has created another tasty batch of shoes. Shoe models such as the Otto and Sette shoes serve as the headliners of the collection for Spring 2009. Also for the second installment of the S/S 09 collection, Gourmet has come out with its colorful EPI collection.
The recent collection is headlined by seven shoe styles, namely the L’Uno, Il Due, Il Tre, La Quattro, Il’ Cinque, L’Sette and L’Otto. The brand’s accessories such as digital watches, Ventosa Rings, Pendants, and Occi Rings are also up for grabs.
