Steve Carell To Develop New Cop Comedy Show

Most people know Steve Carell from his five-year run on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Since then, Steve has proven to be a Grade A actor starring in popular movies such as The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Little Miss Sunshine and Evan Almighty. In addition to his leading roles in box office smash hits he received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Comedy Series for playing the star character of Michael Scott for The Office in 2006.

Rolling Stone reports that Steve assisted by his wife is going to take a stab at the other side of the camera. The Carell’s are developing a new comedy show titled Tribeca. The story line is built around a veteran police officer and their time on the LAPD. Look out for the pilot expected to be released soon.
