G Units The Game Plans To Release Sports Shoe

Hip-hop star THE GAME is following in the fashion footsteps of his mentor 50 CENT, by releasing his own athletic sneaker.

While 50 Cent has his own line of sneakers through REEBOK, The Game, whose real name is JAYCEON TAYLOR, has decided to make an impact in the footwear world with a completely original line, possibly titled “The Hurricanes”.

The Game, who was rumored to have changed his name to “The Hurricane”, spoke with reporters from AllHipHop.com saying: “They [the shoes] are dropping around Christmas. I’m comin’ with some new designs.

“N****s won’t be like, ‘Aw, them is fake Air Force Ones. I like my s**t to be legit, and I ain’t gonna make it unless I know I f**k with it. Like, if a n***a put out some knock-off sneakers, I’m gonna be like ‘Nah, them knock-off Air Ones.’ And you’re (going to say) I’m gonna [purchase] my motherf***in’ Nikes!

“I ain’t taking nothing away from [anyone else], but the Hurricanes is about to lock it up. Watch.”

The shoes are a part of Game’s broader plan to enter into the urban clothing business.

He adds, “I’m deciding on a name right now.”
