Coming off a very busy year, the clothing line brand Lifted Research Group, better known as LRG has been inspired to launch a womenswear line.
Branded with their signature ‘L’ logo inside an arrow-outline heart, the new fashion label is entitled “Luxirie”.
Luxirie, a Labour of Love, will be a sexy yet classy contemporary line for the Urban and Hip-Hop divas looking to get into the new ‘urban boutique’ style that’s already become a big trend with males.
SoJones.com fashion forum has a current post updated with information on the Luxirie clothing line. SoJones forum moderator Kelsie Smoot, who’s known online for her long history of styling in all genres of fashion, was first to report the Luxirie clothing line after talks with a ‘Man Alive’ (retail store) sales associate. Modeling brands from Baby Phat to Louis Vuitton, the Detroit native stated “She (the sales associate) said Man Alive will have it before summer. I will be glad when the line releases.”
Other female fans of the LRG brand were excited about the clothing line’s launch as well. The excitement in replies to the original post by those in the SoJones Urban and Hip-Hop fashion forum predict the line to be a huge success. SoJones CEO Rod Rainey even suggests all store buyers keep a versatile, deep stock of the Luxirie line in the first two seasons minimum.
Found online at Luxirie.com, the LRG brand also created a Myspace page with more information. Both pages keep fans of the urban boutique style clothing line updated with events, sample sales, and other breaking LRG and Luxirie news.
SoJones.com, the #1 and original Urban and Hip Hop fashion publication, is looking to reach out to LRG for a showroom photography session. If access is granted for the shoot, photos of the line Luxirie will be found on SoJones.com under the “photo captions” page.
Luxurie by LRG, A Labour of Love, will be released in Canada during the fall of 2006. Details on its release within the United States are rumors currently, but slated to be release during the fall of 2006 as well.
SoJones.com and SoJones Magazine will both be scouring Atlanta and New York city for more information and photo opportunities on the fashion line.
