Headlining the 47th Super Bowl Halftime Show last Sunday (February 3), Beyoncé treated her fans to an epic, riveting performance.

After the Pepsi-sponsored countdown, the diva extraordinaire emerged onstage in all her glory and kicked off the show with a live version of “Love On Top.” Queen Bey was later joined by a clique of female dancers and performed her hit singles “Crazy in Love,” “End of Time,” and “Baby Boy.”

Destiny’s Child Reunion

To intensify the already fierce performance, Beyoncé was joined onstage by Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to briefly re-form Destiny’s Child. The trio performed a couple of the group’s biggest hits: “Bootylicious” and “Independent Women.” Kelly and Michelle even stayed to perform Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies.”

Beyoncé finished her set alone, belting the slow groove “Halo.”

Destiny’s Child’s show-stopping ensemble could go down as one of the most stylish costumes in Super Bowl history.

Beyoncé, Rowland, and Williams, ripped the stage clad in an all-black leather and lace ensemble. Mrs. Carter, as well as Williams and the hundreds of dancers, was outfitted in custom Rubin Singer. According to EOnline:

The magnificent stage costume was based off the designer’s upcoming fall 2013 collection entitled ‘Valkyrie’s Dominion’, a nod to Norse mythology’s dominant female warriors—a creative vision that clearly hit a high note with the powerful performer.

As for the handiwork and execution of the elaborate design, we’re told that no less than five fittings, a team of 14 workers and over 200 man hours at the designer’s New York atelier were required to complete the costume.

Python, paneled iguana, trapunto-pick stitched leather, nylon, metal, plastic and silk were just a few of the fine materials used for Bey’s major style statement.

Meanwhile, Kelly stood out a bit, as she was outfitted in custom Emilio Pucci.

All three matched the striking outfit with knee-highs and Proenza Schouler booties.
