Lea Michele has been living a busy life in New York lately (and flaunting her street style in the process), thanks to her starring role in Broadway’s Funny Girl. And it seems she’s found the perfectly comfy shoe to wear as she goes about her business in the city: a pair of Mary Jane pumps.

The 36-year-old singer and actress has been snapped a number of times sporting the cute and classic shoe. And she’s not the only one, as several other celebs have made the preppy footwear a staple in their wardrobes as well, whether for casual days out or for red carpet dressing.

Ahead, take a look at how they style their Mary Janes.

Lea Michele

Lea shared this snap on Instagram last month showing a pair of Khaite Lorimer pumps ($840 on the brand’s website), which she teamed with a long-sleeve knit top from the same brand along with khakis. She LOVES these black patent Mary Janes and wears them a lot as she goes about her Broadway duties.

With her in the photo is Emma Roberts, who’s a fan of Mary Janes, too. More on that later.

Kaia Gerber

Kaia Gerber graced the Tiffany & Co. Lock event on October 26 wearing a pair of Celine Babies pumps to go with her shirtdress and chain-strap bag (both from Celine as well). These black patent Mary Janes feature T-straps and block heels – they definitely added a retro, schoolgirl vibe to her outfit.

Elsa Hosk And Bella Hadid

Chunky-heeled, T-bar Mary Janes were Elsa Hosk’s choice, too, when she attended the Coach show in September. She teamed the black patent pair with a white crochet dress and a red bag, all from the New York fashion house.

Comfort was top of mind for Bella Hadid when she took a flight in early October. She opted for a pair of flat Mary Janes to go with her leggings and hoodie.

Kendall Jenner And Emma Roberts

Mary Jane pumps can be sexy, too. Kendall Jenner proved that when she wore this towering pair from Tom Ford along with a bodysuit, tights, and lace veil to Doja Cat’s birthday party on October 21.

Emma Roberts, meanwhile, opted for a chunky pair to go with her black trousers and long-sleeve top when she posed for this Instagram pic in August. They’re the Celine Bulky Triomphe Perforated Babies in Crocodile Stamped Calfskin, which retail for $990 on the brand’s website.
