Chloe Bailey brought Barbiecore to the 2022 Wearable Art Gala.

The 24-year-old singer was on hand at the star-studded event held on Saturday, October 22, to perform a song alongside her sister, Halle. Their rendition of CeCe Winans and Whitney Houston’s “Count on Me” from the movie Waiting to Exhale mesmerized everyone, and so did their glamorous outfits.

The theme for this year’s gala was “Harlem Nights,” and a lot of guests hit the red carpet in spectacular vintage-inspired ensembles. But Chloe opted for a timeless look in a very trendy and modern hue. See below.

Barbiecore Vibes

The “Have Mercy” hitmaker shared a carousel of photos on Instagram showing off the dreamy fairytale-inspired gown. Hailing from Australian brand Aje’s Resort 2023 collection, it gave off major Barbiecore vibes thanks to its hot-pink hue, and featured puffed sleeves, a voluminous skirt, and a high slit revealing Chloe’s footwear choice, a pair of bow-adorned silver pumps by Mach & Mach.

Swipe to the last pic to see Halle looking oh-so-chic herself in a black gown by Georges Hobeika, boasting a cleavage-baring cutout and and crystal embellishments. They both turned heads that night!

Reunion With Beyonce

Chloe and Halle had a happy reunion with Beyonce at the gala. You may remember that the duo first gained prominence when they did a viral cover of the pop superstar’s “Pretty Hurts” in 2013, which led to a management deal with her label, Parkwood Entertainment.

Chloe shared a photo of the three of them at the event, simply captioned, “family.” As per usual, Beyonce looked fab in a strapless black-and-white Gucci gown with stars adorning the bust, styled with pink opera gloves. Swipe to see the gorgeous trio sharing a sweet moment.

Taking The Plunge At 'Black Panther' Premiere

The Wearable Art Gala wasn’t the only red carpet event Chloe attended recently. On Wednesday, October 26, she headed to the Los Angeles premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever wearing a beaded black gown with double slits and a plunging neckline. The sexy number was designed by her godmother, Shermay Joh.

Completing her look were bejeweled platforms by Giuseppe Zanotti and an elaborate updo, complete with a braided halo.

Shop The Looks

Both of Chloe’s looks are available to shop online. The pink gown, called Manifestation, retails for $895 on Aje’s website and the Mach & Mach shoes are $1,177 on Nordstrom.

Her dress at the Black Panther premiere is on sale here for $145 (originally $165). The Giuseppe Zanotti Tarifa heels are $1,350 on the brand’s website.
