The Sky-High Valentino Tan-Go Platform Pumps Are This Year's Celeb-Favorite Heels

First of all, a toast to Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge's engagement!

The 23-year-old model and her fiancé celebrated their engagement with a party in late May, and she chose a pair of Valentino Tan-Go platform pumps in light ivory for the very special occasion. The sky-high heels worked beautifully with her lovely hand-embroidered dress from Antwerp-based label Bernadette.

It's no surprise that style icon Jennifer Lopez has jumped in on the trend, too. On a recent trip to Manhattan to see Into the Woods on Broadway, the new Mrs. Affleck rocked a crystal-studded version of the Tan-Go along with a lavender lace dress by Gucci, a Valentino bag, and Chloe sunglasses (swipe for more photos).

This embellished style, in suede with crystal appliques, comes at a steep price of $2,300 on Valentino's website and is also available in black. The patent leather version, like Sofia Richie's and the rest below, is $1,150.

In early August, Dua Lipa uploaded a carousel post to her Instagram paying tribute to Valentino's creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli. Naturally, she's wearing some pieces from the Italian fashion house in the photos, including a pair of patent leather Tan-Gos in the brand's signature pink PP hue.

Kate Hudson was wearing head-to-toe Valentino as well when she attended the label's Fall 2022 Couture show in Rome last July. She opted for a black patent leather pair, which she teamed with a mini dress, gloves, and the One Stud bag.

Before heading to the BET Awards after-party in late June, Kate Beckinsale took this photo at home to show off her sassy outfit consisting of black Valentino Tan-Go platforms, a Raisa Vanessa mini dress, and a fabulous tiara.
