Here’s a preview of what JC Penney’s Boutique+ has to offer to plus size women of fashion.
The elusive pleated skirt, although you can see only a handful of them on the spread of magazines today, it is set to make a comeback at the launch Boutique+. The pleats of the skirt give you an extra bounce and can be forgiving to broad hips. It has a nice easy, breezy feel that is great for casual day outs.
Clam Diggers and Capri
Clam diggers or Capri are also making a comeback. JC Penney makes the cut narrower on the leg area which makes the legs look leaner. These are basically cropped pants that can slim down the upper thighs. It comes in various fabrics like denim and stretch fabric. It can be used in varied ways topped with a shirt, long blouse or dress.
Who says that a plus size woman can’t rock a mini dress? Well, she can and she will! There will be a lot of short dresses parading the shelves of JC Penney with prints that are fresh and loveable. The dress length just falls on the mid-upper legs which can show off those sexy curves. These little dresses have awesome cuts and silhouettes, like wrap arounds, which hugs your body all in the right places.
Button Down Dress
This is something new and upcoming from Boutique+. A button down dress is like buttoned polo blouse– but lengthier. This can also hide some imperfections on the waist area. Complete this ensemble with a black capri or wear as is and you are good to go.
Vests are great accessory. They can hide flaws and give an illusion of a slimmer silhouette. There are very versatile and can go with almost all kinds of blouse or t-shirts. They can come in denim, leather, or fancy prints. It’s totally up to your taste.
Cut Out Shirts
Cut out shirts can give anyone that oomph without going overboard. It shows off a little skin without bearing it all. Shoulder cut out is a hit and are often seen on light fabric or even spandex. These tops are often cut in long silhouettes which can elongate a wide frame and can look great on any plus size women. Go check out Boutique+ at JC Penney this May!
