SoJones has introduced Likuid Nation before to you, dear readers, but this summer is the exact time where you can get re-introduced to the brand. What’s up with the North Carolina-based brand? Read on.
So what’s up Likuid Nation? How’s life in the industry?
Everything is going well with LiKuid Nation. We are constantly evolving and figuring things out about us that we never knew existed so, weʼre just focusing on us right now. In a recent interview I had told people that we were going to discontinue our PiNC. Line but our followers really showed that they liked the brand so, because of them, we decided to keep it. It may seem frustrating or as if we are confused at times but we are doing LKDN and during our growing pains we want to share it with the world and grow together. The industry…is tha industry.
Let’s go straight to your collection: what are your key pieces for Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter 2010?
For our 2010 Spring. Summer collection, the key pieces are our LiKuid Nation “basic logo” tee, our black LKDN “lines” tee, and our LKDN “Seal” tee which is apart of our giveaway. We also have awesome fitteds which have never really received a fair viewing because our tees are that powerful. Our hats are and will always be a main item as well for all seasons. We teamed up with L.A. based Elm Company for the production.
Any collaborations coming up? Or maybe celeb endorsement?
As far as collaborations, yes we do have one coming up aimed for the Fall/Winter months. It’s a European collaboration at the least with an awesome freestyle artist. That’s all we can really say about it as of now but branding and simplicity are definitely the 2 terms that best describe its aesthetics.
Your brand is trying to give back to the North Carolina community. What have you done and what are your plans on this in 2010?
We have been so focused on our communication as a brand in PiNC. not so much LiKuid Nation. Because LKDN is the company it shares that worldly quality but PiNC. is what it’s about which is a clothing line that represents “home” no matter where you may be located. It stands for People In North Carolina but it’s silly to limit the line to ONLY people in North Carolina. Because of this, we have not yet been able to get involved 100% with any community outreach situations or anything of this nature.
The folks from LikuidNation are nice enough to give this cute logo T-shirt to you, SoJones readers.
