A lot of people have been used to lookbooks that are just a collection of photographs of models in artificial setups where nothing varies except the colors of clothes and their fabrics. But to streetwear enthusiasts who are really paying close attention, NEIGHBORHOOD’s lookbook for the Spring/Summer 2014 collection shows just how dope a collection would look like when the pieces of clothing are worn by real people.
The Japan-based urban fashion brand has invited actual New Yorkers to model the fresh fits in their new collection that is mostly dominated by work wear and military-inspired apparel pieces. NEIGHBORHOOD has wildly strayed away from the rigid rules of lookbook design, but we are more than delighted to see the results of this new approach.
