If you weren’t able to get your hands on a pair of limited-edition Air Yeezy II, then this might be your chance!
RE/CREATE New York is arranging an auction to benefit relief efforts for Hurricane Sandy. The charitable platform brought together prominent creators representing the world of fashion, entertainment, and more to donate personal, unique items for auction and support a good cause. All proceeds will go to New York Cares.
Kanye West-Signed and Worn Air Yeezy II for Auction
Among the personal items donated is one of the most coveted shoes on the market—and possibly the most hyped sneaker ever: the Nike Air Yeezy II. The pair that is up for auction is the Black/Solar Red colorway (size 10.5) with an autograph of Kanye West himself, along with a rough sketch of his trademark College Dropout bear. The sneakers will be put up for auction on January 24, 2013 at 10 p.m. ET.
More Items Up for Auction
Other items auctioned off include a Miu Miu Dress from Anne Hathaway, a Mini Stam Bag from Marc Jacobs, a One-of-a-Kind Handbag from Alexander Wang, and a Gucci Heritage 60th Anniversary Loafers from Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini. Check out even more items up for auction here.
Here’s a bonus: RE/CREATE New York also asked the creators to “curate a playlist for your entertainment.”
