50 Cent has just released the video for “My Life,” featuring Eminem and Adam Levine, from his long-awaited fifth studio album Street King Immortal. Upon the release of the video, Fif stopped by Carson Daly’s show where he mentioned that he owes his career to Shady.

“My career wouldn’t even exist, I wouldn’t even be talking to you if it wasn’t for Em,” 50 Cent explained. “It’s amazing that later in your life you could find someone that means so much to the comfort in your actual life. My grandparents were that for me before Em.”

He also said that “Beef doesn’t actually sell records. It creates that barbershop/beauty salon conversation. Hit records sell records.” You can listen to the interview here.

In other 50 Cent news, the already mentioned oft-delayed album Street King Immortal will finally hit shelves on February 26, 2013 through Aftermath Entertainment, Interscope Records and Shady Records. The album was supposed to be released back on November 13, but was delayed “because it’s the final album requirement for Interscope and we went through an audit type of situation until we got it all cleared up”.

On November 27, Fif tweeted:

“I will not let you down.I have really been working on this album. STREET KING IMMORTAL will be a classic.”

Until then, you can check out the video for “My Life” below.
