Hear ye! Hear ye! Sneakerheads, mark your calendars. The Swoosh will strike twice this month by launching two sets of footwear that will surely take the world by storm.
More than a month after LeBron James debuted his Nike signature sneaker during the final match of the 2012 Olympic basketball tournament, Nike Basketball is finally releasing the much-anticipated Gold Medal Pack on September 29. This pack features four celebratory kicks worn by Nike athletes during the final game: Kevin Durant’s Nike Zoom KD IV, Kobe Bryant’s Nike Zoom Kobe VII, LeBron James’ Nike LeBron X+, and the Lunar Hyperdunk.
Prices range from $95 to $270.
But wait, there’s more! Nike knows you can’t wait for the USA Olympics-inspired colorways on the 29th, so it has treated you to a hearty surprise. Nike Las Vegas has confirmed that the Nike Lebron X+ Sports Pack “Crown Jewel” is set to drop on September 22 – this weekend to be exact.
As the name suggests, the collection showcases a royal heritage with some royalty-inspired underscores. The fireberry-based model comes with a speckled grey midsole, multi-colored laces, and textured Nike Swoosh. This series is set to hit retail stores with a $270 price tag.
With the Bordeaux, Fireberry, Wolf Grey, and Metallic Gold colorways, these kicks are deemed to be fit for a king. Will you cop or drop these Nike LeBron X+ kicks?
