On the Bravo TV series “Real Housewives of Atlanta” you wouldn’t think the housewives would have time for anything other than creating drama for themselves and those around them. But Sheree Whitfield, one of the reality show’s stars, has finally debuted her signature apparel line “She by Sheree“. It was showcased earlier this month at New York Fashion Week. Let’s take a look!

Neo-soul singer Angie Stone:
Hip Hop producer Jazze Pha:
And of course fellow housewife Nene Leakes came to show support as well!
Sheree arrived at her fashion showcase wearing a dress from the line. She described her escort as “just a friend.”
Sheree and her models. Let’s get to the show!
“She By Sheree” showcased 25 designs for the fall 2009 collection, which consisted of mostly muted tones of black, gray and blue. The head turning look of the night would have to be the formal one-shoulder gown with tulle train below. I give this a: B-. I like the colors at the neck and train which offsets the black really well. Maybe a different color of shoes and earrings would make this outfit stand out in a good way even more!
Described as an off-shoulder blouse, supposedly a throwback to the 80’s. But some things should never, ever be brought back. Grade: F+ (yes, F+ does exist; I got one in 3rd grade before)
Black never goes out of style. A trench coat is a must have for any wardrobe, especially for fall. Belts go well with these particular type of coats, though in this case a hot pink or cool blue color belt would spice this outfit up a bit? Grade: A
Diggin’ the blouse, liking the color, but why is it so see-through? Grade: B
For some reason, I’m reminded of Michelle Obama here. Hate the shoes though. Great color dress for her complexion! Grade: A
The bachelor party is THAT way, ma’am. Grade: A (if it were worn at a bachelor party and the girl weren’t so skinny)
I love the metallic silk silver top: elegant. Hate the pants, a little too wide on the pant leg; they make her hips look bigger than they actually are. Grade: A for the shirt, C for the pants.
Sheree is really bringing it now in this cream silk metallic jumper that is still popular this season. Remember, jumpers work best on women who have long legs and have thighs that are proportionate with the upper body. The necklace really adds a lot of flair to this outfit. Wonderfully executed. Grade: A+
If this is what Sheree considers a throwback to the 80’s, she needs to never touch this decade again. Compared to everything else we saw here, this is lackluster. Grade: D
What are your thoughts on the showcase, reader?
