Marketed as an ultra-premium cream “liqueur,” the Grammy-award winning producer has his golden hand in every phase of the Qream operation, designing the bottle, the marketing and advertising campaigns and last but not least, serving as the brand’s cultural ambassador.
Pharrell believes that the new cream liqueur is the quintessence of everything that appeals to women.
In his own words to HipHop.com:
“Qream was created for contemporary women who work hard and want to relax with friends at the end of the day. I want them to reward themselves ‘deliciously. Women make up half the population and Qream is about celebrating that power…”
Qream with a Q will be available in two flavors: Strawberry Qream and Peach Qream.
The liquor company, Diageo, has already had a successful launch with another Hip-Hop mogul, Sean “Diddy” Combs in the form of the Ciroc Vodka brand, of which Combs owns 50%.
The Director of Liqueurs Marketing at Diageo, Anna MacDonald, believes that Pharrell’s unique perspective will propel Qream to become synonymous with women who celebrate style, class and quality.
Here’s to the American dream and the eternal spirit of the entrepreneur.
