Not all of the runway shows during New York City’s Fashion Week take place at Bryant Park. A perfect case in point is the Olin Edizione show that was held September 15th at Rogue. Edizione and two guest designers, one of them being Sabit NYC
showcased their 2010 ideas in front of an intimate crowd. SoJones was on hand for the action.
All of the looks that Edizione chose for Tuesday night were from the fall and winter womenswear collection. Edizione did a very good job of incorporating bright colors into both casual and more formal looks.
Sabit NYC showcased their casual menswear line. Sabit NYC is the brainchild of Shoichi Amemiya. Amemiya is no newbie, when it comes to the fashion biz. The Sabit brand has been around for nearly 5 years now. Before that, Amemiya was the director of outerwear for Ecko.
Several big names in hip hop, including 50 Cent, T.I., Chris Brown, T-Pain, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Ludacris, T.O.K., Mos Def, have been seen wearing Sabit. At last week’s Jay-Z, “Answer the Call” benefit concert, Swizz Beatz was wearing Sabit during his performance with Jay-Z.
Here are a few of the looks from Tuesday night:
