rock-soul-apparel-companySince its debut in February 2007 by Philadelphia Native and Graphic Artist Tyrese S. Thomas, Rock and Soul Apparel intended to merge the two equals known as Rock and Soul, as both of these genres have rendered such an extraordinary role in pop culture. The visionary’s intent to creatively stimulate idealistic images that reflected the marriage of Rock and Soul resulted in launching their first vintages tee collection entitled “Self Authentication”. The concept behind the name is an epic commemoration to strength, self gratitude and individuality.

Rock and Soul Apparel will show off its Vintage Collection a. Q. A clothing line Spring/Summer 2009 lineup at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, PA.  on Saturday, May 23, 2009.  This event will have a mixture of fashion, music and artistry with the night’s festivities to be hosted by Model / Entertainment Personality Christina Mendez and just added performances of singer / entertainer tU pHAce and eclectic University of the Arts opera singer, Mary Anne Cleary.

Visionary and creator of Rock and Soul Apparel, Tyrese Thomas stated:

“In these times every person is budget conscious when it comes to entertainment, I promise the following when it comes to this a.Q.A event: 1) you will be amazed with the evolution of the Rock and Soul brand, as well as be the first to view the amazing designs of Reginald Lee– the emerging designer I hand picked to open the show, 2) a portion of all proceeds of ticket sales will be donated to The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and 3) you will hear some of the hottest talents in Philadelphia , tU pHace and Mary Anne Cleary, and 4) you will have the opportunity to purchase a one-of-a-kind piece of art provided by BS Gallery”

Since the very beginning, the multi-ethnic company caters to those trendsetting men and women with a goal to create a company that would impact both national and global communities. Rock & Soul Apparel has also nurtured its image of a caring company and has become a supporter of The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (www.pedaids.org), an institution that seeks to prevent pediatric HIV infection and to eradicate pediatric AIDS through research, advocacy and prevention and treatment programs.
