After years of anticipation, fans now can wear the Black Wall Street clothing, the urban-style apparel that used to be exclusively worn by rapper Jayceon Terrell Taylor, better known as “The Game” and his entourage. Since its debut in 2005 under G-Unit -before the much-publicized feud between The Game and 50 Cent-, the Black Wall Street Clothing has been showcased through various performances by The Game, although there was no access for fans to make any purchase of the apparel. The Game releases this official clothing line through his European Black Wall Street community at BWS Europe. President of Black Wall Street, Tasiri Hixon stated:
“We at BWS have been creating clothing items since Game and BWS began the climb to worldwide notoriety and popularity. Now we are taking steps forward to really take the clothing and make it a completeapparel line that will carve out a niche place in the marketplace. Obviously, we are still gearing up to launch domestically soon and will be in retail stores and online stores soon.”
Black Wall Street is also anticipating the relaunch of http://thisizgame.com which will feature a social networking service, live streams of The Game’s performances, Twitter chat sessions, radio, news section and a Black Wall Street marketplace where fans can shop for all high-quality BWS products with competitive price.
International and European Game and Black Wall Street fans can join The Game’s official European Black Wall Street community at www.bwseurope.com. Following in the footsteps of previous rappers who launched their own community-based websites, The Game is also seeking to get closer with his European and international fan base and building his brand, reaching out to wider audience through the internet.
Aside from privileges such as having direct interaction with official Black Wall Street members, affiliates, artists and supporters from the European urban genres, members and supporters from around the world are encouraged to get involved in an active social networking community to stimulate Game’s attendance in the continent thus bringing the European Urban Music Genres in one place. These genres are not limited to just hip hop, but also will include 2-step, bassline, dubstep, funky house, grime and music from Europe’s various languages. Bearing The Game’s aspirations in covering everything urban, Black Wall Street envisions itself as the bridge between American hip hop and beyond.
Currently, the multi-platinum award artist is working on his new Black Wall Street mixtapes with DJ Skee and XO. Stay tuned for more coverage on the Black Wall Street Urban Clothing Line right here at SoJones.com
