The South African beauty – who founded Tropic of C in 2018 “as a creative outlet,” according to an interview with Forbes – shows off the Scoop swimsuit in the brand’s latest color called Raisin. It features an open back, high-cut legs, and thin shoulder straps in a contrasting color, and retails for $180 on the brand’s website.
In this post captioned in part, “close-up ready 💯 meet our new favorite neutral, espresso, in our softest fabric ever, peach perfect,” Swanepoel models a classic from the label, the C. It is a minimalist one-piece with thin shoulder straps, high-cut legs, and cheeky back coverage. And it’s made from Econyl fabric, which is a regenerated nylon, making it an environment-friendly option. The C in Espresso retails for $170.
“Sustainability is a key part of my lifestyle,” she told Forbes. “I think coming from Africa and growing up with such a strong level of nature, it’s where I get inspiration.”
If you’re looking for something that’s a little more on the sporty side, Tropic of C has you covered. Here, the brand’s gorgeous founder flaunts the Sirenas swimsuit in Driftwood Geo, which is both a new style and print. It features a zip-up front, racer neckline, high-cut legs, and a cutout at the back. And it’s made from the brand’s eco-friendly peach perfect fabric that boasts “second skin softness and superior 2 way stretch,” according to the product page. It is available on the website with a $170 price tag.
