This Season’s 10 Best-Dressed NBA Cagers

The 2013-14 NBA season is in full swing. And, while we’ve been enjoying all the action on the court, we’ve also been keeping tabs on what our favorite players have been sporting. Whether it’s arriving to the arena or giving a post-game conference, basketball players are some of the most stylish dudes on the planet. Even though a majority of players have extremely sharp getups, they’re the elite cagers that are ahead of the pack and are true trendsetters. How well-known are NBA players for their fashion? The recently launched Esquire Network selected Baron Davis as the host for the show How I Rock It. Even that popular men’s site, now channel, knows what’s up.

With that in mind, here are this season’s 10 best-dressed NBA players.

Arguably one of the best big men in the game realized a long time ago that being in kinda famous puts you in the spotlight. So, why not look good? The Knicks center has come a long way from his fur-coat days in Chicago. Today, he’s one of the best dressed men in the league. He’s known for all-black runway ready ensembles.

9. James Harden

The current Houston Rocket is obviously known for the beard. But, Harden also brings in that West Coast style of varsity jackets, flannels and Nikes – and the bow ties – that make him one of the most stylish men in the league.

8. Derrick Rose

Even though Rose is a fan of exaggerated patterns and bright colors, he’s not known to wear flamboyant outfits – think Russell Westbrook. Somehow, the Chicago Bull manages to pull off casual wear to perfection.

7. LeBron James

Being a King only means that you need to be well-dressed. You need to set an example to all the commoners. When not suiting up with bow ties, Bron Bron isn’t afraid to push boundaries and go out on the ledge – remember that floral Staple crewneck from last season?

6. Kobe Bryant

Kobe might have been sidelined during the start of the season as he recovers from a ruptured Achilles tendon, but he still dresses to impress. Just catch watching a Lakers game on the bench. Black Mamba knows style.

5. Steve Nash

Kobe’s teammate has a habit of keeping up with what’s in. His pregame attire is on-point that he should be offering fashion course. Maybe that’s why he launched a clothing line consisting of suits?

4. DeAndre Jordan

DeAndre Jordan of the Clippers can pull off any look. Whether it’s a casual ensemble of sweats, white tee and cap or getting dressed up in a white blazer for an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jordan’s another athlete who isn’t afraid to push the style boundaries.

3. Chris Paul

Jordan’s teammate, already has a rep as a shoe fanatic. But, he’s a sharp dresser as well. What makes Paul so fashionable? He’s not afraid to rock cardigans, gets advice from his wife and knows which pieces are essential – white tees and denim, for example – that can get mixed and matched. Chris Paul knows how to play the fashion game.

2. Dwyane Wade

Before high fashion was all the rage, Dwyane Wade was caught in fake glasses and capri pants. He’s not shy in hiding his love for unique fashion items and is proud to highlight his one-of-a-kind outfits.
